General FAQ
- How do I download my products?
- After you make a purchase, you'll be redirected to the "My Arsenal" page which will show you the products you have purchased and download links for them. Also, you can check the "files available for download" tab for the link that says "download here". You will also receive an emailed download link. You can log into your Arsenal account at a later time to download your files, which are available for one week after your purchase is made. Files can be reactivated at a later time if needed.
- What software do I need to use products from the Arsenal?
- You need design software to use our products. Vector Packs should be used with Adobe Illustrator. We cannot guarantee compatibility for Corel users. Photoshop Brushes must be opened with Photoshop. We recommend CS version or newer. Motion Packs are best used with Adobe After Effects. The apparel templates require Adobe Photoshop CS for best results.
- Are your products for use on a Mac or PC?
- Anything from our Arsenal can be used on either a Mac or PC. Please make sure you have the suitable software to use our products such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. (see question above)
- My order was declined, but I still see a charge on my card. Why is this?
- Although the transaction is marked as declined due to Address or Card Code Verification (CCV) Mismatch, the authorization code, along with the hold on the authorized funds, will remain on the customer's card until the card issuing bank removes the authorization. As a result, the held funds may be subtracted from the customer's available balance, and an online statement may reflect the authorization request which might be mistaken for an actual charge. Most card issuing banks will remove authorizations within 3-7 days.
- Can I use Arsenal products on a t-shirt or other printed / manufactured goods that I will sell?
- Yes you can. You may use Go Media stock artwork for personal or commercial works.
- Where can I buy Distressed T-shirts like the ones in your Template Pack?
- The templates are made with Bare Apparel T-shirts. Unfortunately, Bare Apparel is no longer in business. The following alternatives should work well, though: Relik Apparel | Vintage Basics | Socal Blanks
- What if I do not have Photoshop, but want to use the shirt mockup templates?
- Try ShirtMockup.com, it is a fast, free tool to use for simply mocking up shirt designs and saving them out. The site offers a free version and a paid pro version which contains more garment styles and more options.
- How long are my downloads available?
- Download links are available under the "My Arsenal" page for one week from the date of your purchase. Click on the "downloads" tab in order to view what date your link will expire. You may click "request activation" to have your download time extended if your file has expired.
- What is the difference between a "vector" and a "photoshop brush"?
- Vector files are not made up of pixels, whereas brushes are. Vectors can be scaled infinitely to any size without losing quality. The maximum size of a Photoshop brush is 2500x2500 pixels. If it is enlarged any more than that, the image can become blurry. Vectors are opened with vector editing software such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. Photoshop Brushes are only compatible with Photoshop. Photoshop brushes are used primarily when vector editing software is not available or the user is more comfortable in Photoshop.
- How do I download the freebies?
- In order to download our freebies, you must add them to your cart and proceed through the checkout process.
- I would like to use Go Media Stock Art as part of a web based design application. (An example of a web based design application is Spread Shirt.) Is this allowed?
- No, this is a violation of the EULA. Here’s why: Each one of your site’s users would be receiving a percentage of the value that they would receive as owners of a Go Media Vector Pack. Although I grant that a user would not receive full value because of the limited functionality of the online application relative to desktop vector editing software, they receive value nonetheless. The issue is that this value is not being passed on to Go Media.
- Can you work on a custom design for me?
- We sure can! Go Media is a full service design firm and you can see our portfolio here. If you are interested in working with us, please fill out the contact form on our design services site.
