Today, the Arsenal is sitting down with musician and entreprenuer, Erika Durham, founder of multi-layered Cleveland business Canopy Collective.We took a short drive down the street to learn about what inspired Erika to start her unique company, the mentors who have guided her, and advice she has for entrepreneurs with the dreams to stop working for someone else in order to fulfill your own dreams on the daily.
Her business, Canopy Collective, is a must-stop for any artist, maker, dancer, musician, illustrator or aspiring creative here in Cleveland. It’s part shop, part gallery and part event space, a hub of positive energy and love. According to Erika, Canopy supports more than 60 artists in Cleveland and around the country. They house nine resident artists and host their events regularly in the gallery space. Erika highly encourages the community to use the space for various creative endeavors.
