The Melting Snow and Ice Texture Pack

The Melting Snow and Ice Texture Pack

Once snow starts melting, it can provide some intense, grainy, and gritty textures. The delicate crystals become lumps of ice, that play beautifully with light. The water slowly mixes with the ground beneath, creating a fine layer of grime and mud. The various particles caught while the snow fell are slowly revealed.

Armed with my camera, I set to capture the quickly changing worlds of melting snow and ice.

Did you know that snow can provide beautiful, and soft textures while it’s fresh and powdery? I captured 25 of these textures in the snow texture pack, available here.
