Cosmic Fractal Storm Abstract Texture Pack
Arsenal Artist Dustin Schmieding has returned to our Marketplace with a bang. His new set of 15 mind-blowing textures has us totally geeking out. This, his Cosmic Fractal Storm Abstract Texture Pack, was created exclusively for the Arsenal, and contains a set of completely unique, intricate textures created in After Effects.
Here’s what Dustin has to say about his creations:
This digital texture set showcases Red Giant’s brand new After Effect’s plug-in, Trapcode Tao. I used a different Trapcode Suite plug-in, Mir, to create two previous Arsenal sets: Wireframe Soundwaves and Fractal Space. After Tao was released at the end of October, I was eager to dive in.
It’s difficult to document the creative process for this type of work because the plug-ins offer infinite options. The biggest problem is usually settling on one aesthetic/theme and then building out a set of 15 similar compositions. But it sure is fun. Ideas become so fluid and fast-changing that I leave behind a trail of breadcrumb compositions as I work. Total mutation of the composition only a camera move or slight property-change away.
